Clean and Jerk Ladder with Dubs
Every minute on the minute complete 20 double unders and then the prescribed clean and jerk weight and reps. Continue until you cannot complete the clean and jerks in the allotted minute.
Progress through the following weights and reps.

Post final weight and reps.

3 rounds for time.
20 yd lunge @ 135lbs front rack
10 box jump overs @ 30″
5 wall climbs
20yd bar push (just roll your bar back to starting point)

Really hoped I could get a little more on the clean and jerk. The lifts felt good, but I was out of gas. The dubs were surprisingly taxing.

  1. The lazy, beer drinking, football loving girl won over the sweaty, hang-cleaning, box jumping girl today. Stayed home to watch the Browns v. Steelers game so I completed my own WOD as follows:
    4 hr. AMRAP
    watch the Browns lose
    nap
    drink a Bud Light
    eat potato chips

    5 rounds +2 buds

  2. Didn’t get far on WOD 1
    Thru 185….took some rest and tried a PR on clean & jerks….got 210

    WOD 2 – 11:06….rxd
    Very happy I did 135 lunges and only dropped it once on third round

  3. I like Emily’s Wod MUCH BETTER than the one’s that we did.

    I also didn’t get too far on the c&j ladder. Got 1 at 205#. Did get 1 at 225# with terrible form after a little rest.

    Wod 2 – 9:36. Just took far too long on the lunges – dropped it at least 2 or 3 times on last 2 rounds. The rest of it wasn’t too bad.

    Did 5 unbroken bar muscle up’s before wod – first time I’ve ever put more than one together. Tried again at the end and no such luck.
