Decided to do 2 WOD’s today. Thought it would be good to test ourselves before Turkey Day and after a pretty grueling strength day yesterday. I also wanted to take advantage of doing some tougher work with less rest between our last training session. The turn around time today was less than 24 hours.

For time:
2 rounds
20 thrusters @ 100lbs
10 burpee box jumps @ 24″
30 double unders

Post times.


We rested for roughly 10 minutes, then moved on to the next one.

For time:
5 rounds
10 hang cleans @ 135lbs
10 toes to bar
10 push press @ 135lbs


This one beat me up pretty good. My shoulders were gassed from Diane yesterday and doing both sets of thrusters in the first WOD unbroken. I had a bad attitude going into this workout too, so I let my mind get the best of me.

    Really happy with my performance on both. Jumps and doubles did a number on my knee though. Can’t do that too often.

    I have had a wicked chest cold since the weekend and was worried about 2nd wod after coughing bad after first one, so I scaled to 115# for wod 2…12:30 for wod 2…..glad to have gotten through them both…..welcome back Will!
